Briefly addressing the crowd of thousands on Sunday, Snoop Dogg praised the The Nation of Islam's Minister Louis Farrakhan, going on to call himself the leader of the "hip-hop community".Farrakhan has long standing relationships with hip hop and rap artists and Snoop went on to show his mutual support by saying that he will always seek out the minister.
After making a $2,000 donation to the Nation of Islam, Snoop then sat on stage as Farrakhan addressed the crowd.
Rapper Doug E. Fresh also attended but didn't speak publicly and T.I., (whose real name is Clifford Harris), appeared via recorded video, telling followers that "education is the key to success".
