Angelina Debuts Dueling Looks For New Spy Thriller

All femme fatales need a good disguise, or two, especially if her pursuers know too much about her. And with Angelina Jolie filming the spy thriller Salt this week, two looks have already surfaced.

One is a soft-looking, all-business blonde, and the other an alluring raven-haired, possibly weapon-toting vixen. Which is the real Evelyn A. Salt, a rogue CIA operative trying to clear her name? That's the big mystery.

"She's a character you never know," Lorenzo di Bonaventura, who also produced Transformers and the upcoming G.I. Joe, tells. "People who think they know the real her may or may not. Those who think they can tell whether she's in a disguise also may or may not ... She tells you her agenda, but are you supposed to believe it?"

Di Bonaventura adds: "Her pursuers have a ton of information to act on, but that's where they begin to question what is real and what isn't".

Salt co-stars Liev Schreiber as Winter, her ally and supervisor in the CIA's Russia office, and shoots in Washington, D.C., and New York City. It opens in 2010.

Mariah Carey's Baby Planning

The 38-year-old singer and her husband Nick Cannon, who married last year following a whirlwind romance, were seen leaving a Beverly Hills' Southern California Reproductive Center last week, where they reportedly met with a prenatal specialist.

A source told: "Nick and Mariah are trying anything and everything to conceive. After almost a year of trying to natural way, they visited a fertility clinic to help make their baby dream come true".

Mariah is said to be desperate to give birth before she turns 40 next March.
The renowned centre is one of the leading In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) clinics in California.

The couple have made no secret of their desire to start a family, with Nick admitting he wants a large brood. He said: "We'll multiply. That's what's got to happen."

Mariah has also revealed she is ready to become a mother, but finds the constant speculation about whether she is expecting tiresome.

She said: "I don't like to talk about it too much. I just think about it as the next phase. We'll see. I've changed my mind about becoming a mother because I'm with 'The One'. I think we would make good parents, and that we'd be able to figure out how to do it properly".

Keira Knightley Consoles Colin Farrell

Keira Knightley, who is to star opposite Colin in forthcoming film ‘London Boulevard', has recently been consoling Colin following his split from novelist Emma Forrest.

Former hellraiser Colin, 32, is said to be distraught after he was dumped by Emma following a year-long relationship and has turned to Keira, who he had been in touch with regarding their roles.

A source said: "Keira thought it would be helpful to speak to Colin about their parts but she has been trying to support him through girlfriend troubles. She says it has helped her understand the man she is going to play opposite and is delighted to have connected with him so well".

Keira, 23, is going through a tough time herself because she has hardly seen her boyfriend, actor Rupert Friend.

The source added: "Keira can't wait to start shooting as she has put in so much preparation for the part. She has felt lonely without much time with Rupert over the past few months as he has been busy promoting his new film ‘Young Victoria' and, like Colin, can't wait to absorb herself in the project".

‘London Boulevard', which loosely follows the plot of 1950 film ‘Sunset Boulevard', will see Colin playing an ex-convict who falls in love with Keira's reclusive actress character. Shooting on the film starts next month.

Motherhood Has Made Katie Holmes Wiser

Becoming a mother has allowed Katie Holmes to flex muscles she wasn't even aware she possessed.

Motherhood, the parent of 2-year-old Suri Cruise tells: "It has been the most amazing experience, in an instant you become strong. You have to be a little bit wiser; it's the most important job in the world".

Not that having a child wasn't a formidable experience for Holmes, 30, and husband Tom Cruise, 46. "During the first couple of days with Suri, we would just sleep right next to her to make sure she was breathing. And I was constantly learning on the job, but Tom was very helpful and supportive".

Madonna's Receives Mean Present

The '4 Minutes' singer has been inundated with DVDs of the famous horror film 'It' since it was reported last week her ex-husband Guy Ritchie refers to her by the insulting term.

A source said: "She's received the packages at all of her addresses so she suspects they are from somebody she knows. And she is furious".

Madonna has also received 50 copies of the novel by Stephen King, which is about a child murdering clown.

The source added: "It's been said that Guy compared her to Pennywise the clown, the evil monster with the dodgy make-up. But now her homes are full of reminders and she doesn't know how to get rid of them".

The 40-year-old 'RocknRolla' director and Madonna, 50, announced they were divorcing last October after nearly eight years of marriage. Last week, it was revealed that Guy used the offensive name even before the couple split.

A source said: "Even towards the end of their marriage, he would call her 'It'. He told people, 'We can't make 'It' angry'. Or Guy would say, 'Oh, 'It' is in a bad mood today'. There is absolutely no love lost between them".

They were granted a decree nisi in a London High Court last November but still remain embroiled in a bitter custody battle over the two sons they raise together, Rocco, 8 and adopted David, 3.

A US court hearing about custody of the children is scheduled for next month.

Morgan Freeman Health Fears

Morgan Freeman will be monitored round-the-clock by a private doctor on his new movie.

Producers on 'The Human Factor' are concerned about the health of the 71-year-old actor, who plays Nelson Mandela in the film, and director Clint Eastwood, 78, and have flown a private doctor out to the African set to care for the ageing stars.

A source told: "Morgan is under special scrutiny because of his near fatal car accident back in August. There's a huge budget for the film at stake. These guys are getting up there in age.

Sure, they had physicals before leaving, everyone has to. But the private doctor was just an agreed upon decision on all sides of the table".

Clint recently acknowledged he is getting old, but says his passion for films keeps him young at heart.

He said: "I like taking it easy, I like golf and I like Budweiser. All that stuff is fine, but the main thing is I still like working, I think working keeps you young, I think it keeps your mind active. It's like exercising your body - exercising your brain. Both of them are synonymous".

Smarty Pants Emma Watson

The 18-year-old actress, who plays brainbox Hermione Granger in the ‘Harry Potter' franchise, is thrilled by the offer of a place to study at the prestigious American college. Emma broke the news on her internet blog, excitedly posting: "I got into Yale!".

It has not been confirmed what subject Emma is set to study if she accepts the place, but she revealed last month she has also been accepted by Cambridge University in the UK to read English Literature.

The actress recently insisted her studies will not interfere with her acting career and even believes it will help her hone her craft.

She said: "Jodie Foster did it, Natalie Portman did it. I think it's entirely possible to juggle university with filming.

I actually think going to university will make me a better actress. The experience of living like that, working to deadlines, living with other students. It's all the things I want. There are actresses who don't know about things like doing their own laundry and getting a bus. I'm not going to be like that.

For me, this is just the beginning. I've only shown a little bit of what I can do. There is so much more to come".

Farrah Fawcett Sets the Record Straight

A British newspaper put out a report saying that the 'Charlie's Angels' star has flown to Germany for more aggressive cancer treatment in a desperate final attempt to live. The newspaper also reports that Farrah has dismissed staff, saying she may never return.

However, that is absolutely false. Farrah's close friend Alana Stewart, who is currently with Farrah, told over the phone that Farrah goes to Germany for routine treatment every few months. Alana tells that Farrah is in good spirits, and is hopeful and positive, as are her doctors.

Gary Barlow Collapses

The Take That singer, who injured his back last month while training for the 19,000ft climb for British charity Comic Relief, broke down in agony after a gruelling four-hour walk.

Girls Aloud stars Cheryl Cole and Kimberley Walsh, singer Alesha Dixon, presenter Fearne Cotton and actress Denise Van Outen took turns carrying Gary's backpack on the first leg of their eight-day climb.

A source said: "He was in a great deal of pain but everyone rallied around to get him through it. It was a hellish experience".

In his trek diary, Gary said: "It's very steep and I'm having to use two poles for my back, but I'm told it will loosen up after the first day's climb. We only walked for four hours today because of the intense heat and steep incline".

However, Boyzone singer Ronan Keating thought the first day was easy. He said: "Today wasn't too tough a day. I don't mind sleeping in a tent, I go camping with the kids once or twice a year and you get used to it. I've got my gear, it's all here, we've got a little mattress. It's cosy and cool".

The climb will raise money for Comic Relief's charity projects in the UK and Africa.

Organisers hope to raise £1 million, some of which will be used to fight malaria in Tanzania, where Mount Kilimanjaro is located. The mountain is Africa's highest summit.

Michael Jackson Expected To Make Concert Announcement

Despite his spokeswoman labeling the reports speculative, Singer Michael Jackson is likely to perform a series of comeback concerts in London this summer.

A announcement regarding the engagements is expected to be made Thursday by the musician himself.

Jackson's last live performance in Britain took place at the 2006 World Music Awards, where he appeared only briefly.

The O2, formerly the Millennium Dome, is expected to be the venue for his concerts. Also due to headline there in June, for eight nights, is Britney Spears.

Dame Elizabeth Taylor's $100,000 Gift

Citing inspiration from President Barack Obama, Dame Elizabeth Taylor continued her philanthropic efforts this week with an unexpected donation to a faith-based educational outreach program.

After hearing President Obama's speech last week to "reach across the aisle", the Hollywood legend made a $100,000 donation to the Alliance for Christian Education to fund the organization's pilot program for global educational outreach: a preparatory school, Providence Hall.

"I chose to underwrite this remarkable Christian-initiated educational effort because our new president challenged us to break down the barriers that divide us", said Taylor, who happens to be Jewish. "To honor that challenge and to help rebuild our nation, I feel we have to reach beyond the limitations we place on ourselves in the name of religion or other ways we define ourselves".

Bruce Willis Sued

Bruce Willis and Willis Brother Films are being sued for $4 million. A lawsuit has been filed against the actor claiming that Willis and his production company were in violation of a contract agreeing to produce 'Three Stories About Joan.'

The papers state that Willis quit as director on the project September 29, 2008 without notice, which allegedly puts him in breach of the contract.

The following statement is from Willis' attorney, Marty Singer: "The lawsuit filed against Bruce Willis by the production companies on the proposed motion picture 'Three Stories About Joan' is frivolous and has no merit. In over three decades of practice, I have rarely seen such an absurd lawsuit.

The production companies admitted they did not have the financing in place for the film, failed to pay members of the cast and crew, and failed to deposit Bruce Willis' compensation in escrow, which resulted in the film not going forward. After Mr. Willis threatened to sue the production companies for their breach of contract, they responded with this baseless lawsuit.

Mr. Willis and other individual producers will proceed with their multi-million-dollar affirmative claims against the production companies this week, and are confident that they will prevail".

The three companies filing the suit include Foresight Unlimited, Signature Entertainment Group and Three Stories Productions.

Farrakhan has long standing relationships with hip hop and rap artists and Snoop went on to show his mutual support by saying that he will always seek out the minister.

After making a $2,000 donation to the Nation of Islam, Snoop then sat on stage as Farrakhan addressed the crowd.

Rapper Doug E. Fresh also attended but didn't speak publicly and T.I., (whose real name is Clifford Harris), appeared via recorded video, telling followers that "education is the key to success".

Siegfried And Roy Magic Is Back

When Las Vegas legend Roy Horn was attacked onstage by one of his beloved white tigers more than five years ago, many feared he would never walk or talk again.

But Saturday night, Horn and his longtime illusionist partner Siegfried Fischbacher (the pair known the world over as Siegfried & Roy) returned to the stage in dramatic style, performing an illusion with what their manager said was the very tiger that nearly ended Horn's life.

With tigers in tow, the duo, who performed to sellout audiences for more than 13 years at the MGM Mirage, appeared in front of a crowd of 1,100 at the annual Power of Love Gala at the Bellagio Resort, a benefit to raise money and awareness for the Lou Ruvo Brain Institute.

Jessica Simpson Admits Defeat

Singer Jessica Simpson has re-hired her ex-personal trainer because she "can't resist" junk food and has a problem with binge eating, which is usually triggered by stress.

The 'Pray Out Loud' singer, whose seemingly fuller figure was slammed after she was photographed wearing unflattering high-waisted jeans recently, has embarked on a strict fitness regime with Mike Alexander in a bid to control her cravings for calorific fried food.

Jessica's most recent violation was indulging in the terrible trio of chicken wings, nachos, and alcohol at the Great Dane Pub in Madison, Wisconsin.

The 28-year-old blonde beauty, who is currently dating American football star Tony Romo, recently revealed she is launching a range of dresses to make all women feel sexy.

She said: "I know what flatters a woman, and trust me, I've been judged a lot in my life. By now I know what works if you're curvy. If my clothing and accessories make you feel great and let you walk proud and tall, in big, big platform shoes, then I'm happy".

Paranoid Pete Wentz

The Fall Out Boy star is so paranoid his life is going to be taken, he won't open his front door in case someone is there waiting to kill him.

Pete, who attempted suicide in 2005, said: "I refuse to answer my front door because I'm convinced someone is going to murder me. I used to think that some day I'd end up murdering a close friend or relative. Now it's reversed and I'm convinced it's going to happen to me. That's the way I'm going out, I'm completely sure of it. So I refuse to answer the front door, it greatly minimises that risk."

The bassist also revealed his bipolar disorder, which is a form of manic depression, is now under control after marrying pop star Ashlee Simpson and becoming a father to their baby son Bronx.
He finds it easier to deal with now. He remembers being extremely happy at the age of four. He went to visit an aunt in Switzerland and remember feeling ecstatic the entire summer. But now is even better.

"With marriage and fatherhood, I've finally found two fixed points in my life. They've taught me patience. They've also taught me that I don't need to feel guilty about being happy. My emotional seasons are less extreme."

Becker, 41, made the surprise proclamation on the show "You Bet…?", and the six-time Grand Slam singles champ proceeded to leap through a flaming heart of fire.

The news organization says that Becker and his girlfriend, model Lilly Kerssenberg, split up toward the end 2007, and Becker then got engaged to a jewelry designer just a few months later.

"Last summer I went a bit off track but Lilly took me back", Becker explained on the TV show. "Now I don't want to let her go".

The wedding will take place this June at a resort in the Swiss Alps.

Kate Hudson And Owen Wilson's French Adventure

After a low-key weekend of bike rides and late night dinners in Paris, Owen Wilson and very on-again girlfriend Kate Hudson took their French break on the road, for a run along the Normandy coastline.

Heading 90 miles north of Paris on Tuesday, the same day that Wilson's 'Marley & Me' costar Jennifer Aniston flew into Paris, the couple mixed sightseeing with small restaurants, picturesque ports, and shopping, and found time for a walk among the crosses lining the U.S. cemetery above Omaha Beach.

After making the two-hour drive, Wilson, 40, and Hudson, 29, stopped first in the port of Trouville-sur-Mer, settling in at the town's celebrated portside terrace restaurant, Les Vapeurs.

Following a one hour-plus lunch, the pair drove over for a lengthy walk around the shops and galleries lining the 18th century port of Honfleur befor returning to Trouville for dinner at L'Inattendu, a small French backstreet restaurant.

Wednesday morning, Owen took a nearly 90-minute job, while Kate went through the exclusive designer boutiques lining the French resort's main avenue. Afterwards, it was back to Les Vapeurs for a second day's lunch, and then an afternoon drive to the Normandy Cemetery, where those who fell in the D-Day landings remain.

They then returned to Paris, where Wilson joined Aniston for the premiere of French-titled 'Marley & Moi'.

"Beyonce is an incredible young woman. Barack and I have met her on a few occasions, and it was a great honor to hear her sing 'At Last' so beautifully at the inauguration", Michelle is quoted. "She is so talented and so real, and we just love her".

"I was completely anxious and honored", Beyonce tells of being asked to sing for the Obamas. "Honestly, I've watched the tape of the performance every day because I just want to relive the moment".

Jeremy Piven Fights For Right To A Tony Award

Three-time Emmy Award winner Jeremy Piven attended an arbitration hearing Thursday to defend himself before the Broadway community. Jeremy Piven was brought up before Actors Equity by the producers of 'Speed-the-Plow' to explain why he exited the hit show in mid-December, just weeks after making his Broadway debut to rave reviews.

At the time Jeremy Piven said it was because of fatigue brought on by high levels of mercury in his bloodstream. And the reason given for these elevated levels was sushi. The play's author, David Mamet, acidly remarked, "My understanding is that he is leaving show business to pursue a career as a thermometer". Even Mark Wahlberg, exec producer of 'Entourage', mocked Piven for making this excuse when the pair attended the Golden Globe Awards in January. Both the show and Piven lost their bids.

At the hearing Jeremy Piven won over the five actors in attendance with his fish tale while the five producing representatives remained unconvinced. Faced with this deadlock, the producers of the show can now pursue arbitration against the actor.

While Piven may avoid any financial payout, his actions probably cost him a Tony Awards nomination. He had earned rave reviews when the play opened October 22 and was considered a strong contender for lead actor in a play.

Rihanna and Chris Brown Back Together

Rihanna and Chris Brown are seeing each other again. Rihanna, 21, and Chris, 19, are spending time with each other at Sean "Diddy" Combs' Miami Beach home.

Rihanna's father Ronald Fenty is also speaking out about the reported reconcilliation, telling from his Barbados home: "I love my daughter with whatever road she takes. I'm behind her win or lose. I will be supportive. If that's the road she wants to choose, I'm behind her. I hope to see her soon. I talked to her after her birthday, and she told me she's okay".

Chris allegedly attacked an unnamed woman the night before both he and Rihanna were scheduled to perform on the Grammys. Later, Rihanna reportedly checked into in Los Angeles hospital to tend to injuries. Brown was subsequently arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and released on $50,000 bail. He may face charges from the district attorney's office.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers In Rehab

The Irish actor is believed to have checked into an English treatment facility to seek help for his alcohol addiction. This is the third time the 31-year-old star has spent time at a clinic.

It has been claimed bosses on ‘The Tudors' spoke to Jonathan about his alcohol intake while filming the TV show's upcoming third season.

In 2005, he attended Promises in Malibu, where Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears and Tara Reid have also been treated, and returned for a second stint in 2007.

Jonathan recently prompted concerns for his health when he was spotted looking dishevelled while purchasing what appeared to be a bottle of vodka.

He has previously spoken about his battle with alcohol, saying: "When I do drink I'm like Bambi. I'm all over the place, hopeless, like a 16-year-old kid. People notice."

In November 2007, the star was arrested after a drunken row with airport staff in Ireland. Days later he was seen walking down a London street drinking a can of strong cider. It was later revealed he was struggling to come to terms with the death of his mother.
